The Secret to Succeed in Studies

Everybody has their own ambitions and wants to be successful in everything they do, including their studies. Success means to manage, to achieve what you want and to do well. It is not easy to turn your dream into reality without putting in a large amount of effort. There are secrets on how to succeed in studies which include setting goals, organising yourself, changing your attitude, and taking care of your health.
Firstly, we must set a goal. We have to ask our selves, what do we want to become? If we want to be a doctor, we must bear in mind that we are going to be a doctor. We have to think of places we want to study and ways that we can get a scholarship, by researching. We have to set a goal because if we study without knowing what is the purpose of our study, we are just like robots or machines, but even robots and machines have their own particular job. We need to have a goal, so that we will know what exactly to study for.
Another thing we must do is become organised. We have to be organised in order to manage our daily tasks, so that we are not being crowded with huge amounts of work and do not know where to start from. One example on how to be organized would be to make a timetable. It is not just making a timetable that we must do, but also we have to follow that timetable, so that we know how to study smartly. When making a timetable, we should prioritise our work, putting the most important thing first. When we follow the timetable that we have made, we will be more likely finish whatever tasks we have without procrastinating, and in turn waste less time. As a saying goes, ‘time is money’, it is priceless.
Attitude also plays an important role in succeeding academically. Our life is in our hands, we choose what to do with it. We are not fated to fail in exams if we are the one who never strive to pass, except God really want to put a test on us. We have to work hard to achieve our goals and try not to get influenced by others easily. We should not worry what others might say or think about us. Effort has to be put ‘day and night’, if we want be successful. We have to be very determined in achieving our goals. Do not be like a balloon, which once poked will burst. Instead we need to stand on our dream and hold on to it  tightly no matter whatever hurricane comse across us. If we want to succeed, we will need to have an attitude of a successful person. So, have a good attitude, be disciplined and never ever give up.
Lastly, in order to become successful in our studies, we must take care of our health. If we are sick, we will obviously not be able to perform our best. The best you can do in a healthy condition is not the same as the best you can do in a sick condition. Our life is our choice. ‘You are what you eat’, as the saying goes. We must have enough sleep, and it is advised that we wake up early in the morning to study. This is because it is the best time to study as our body cells have replenished and we feel invigorated and enthusiastic. Drinking a lot of mineral water to get rid of the toxins in our body is another great way to stay fresh and healthy. Taking care of our health does not only mean eating healthy foods, it is also means that we have to exercise to keep ourselves fit.
In conclusion, it is not easy to succeed and we have to put in a great amount of effort to make our dream a reality. The saying ‘No pain, no gain’ is true. It means that when there is no pain, there will be no gain. This applies to what ever we wish to do in life. Without the effort, it is useless to cry over the spilt milk. Always strive to be ‘creme de la creme’ or cream of the cream, which means to be the best among the best. Set goals, be organized, control your attitude and take care of your health.
